Tai Chi & Qigong has become my solution to the service-connected physical and mental condition(s) that I have acquired during my military service.
It has in fact, become my medication in motion, and has been my alternative to prescription-based pills and invasive treatment.
About Our Programs
When it comes to Tai Chi, we stick to Yang Style. Yang is the most popular form of Tai Chi and is likely the most practiced form of martial art in the world.
When it comes to Qigong, we are quite liberal in what we study. The spectrum ranges from Yoga-fusions such as the Yi Jin Jing, to the power intensive qigong of Shaolin.
Hong Kong Tai Chi & Qigong
Launched in March of 2019, this learning institution is a DBA of Watkins Media, LLC. The organization's name derived from Sifu Gim's experience(s) living in Hong Kong for 3 years. This is where he became the student of International Wushu Gold Medalist Sifu Mei. He returned back to the U.S. in 2018, and decided to share his experience locally in his home of Mississippi and globally online.
What we teach:
-There are no egos here
-Tai Chi is for everyone (regardless of ability)
-Holistic Tai Chi (More than just physical activity)
-Tai Chi is Chinese by origin and thus Chinese culture is inseparable from it
As of Jan 2020, we have over 700 site members and over 150 local students (in Mississippi). We teach traditional Tai Chi forms, Qigong sets, Kung Fu Fan, Chinese Broadsword, and Chinese straight sword. We also offer certification programs for each form or set.
We have our desktop website (which is mobile friendly), and we also have an app on the android market.
